Muurla Chop & Serve boards are crafted in Finland from birch wood sourced from the nearby Nordic forests. Muurla’s plywood factory, located in the charming town of Pieksämäki, utilizes a meticulous process to transform the birchwood into a premium birch veneer. Thin layers of veneer are skillfully bonded and pressed together to create a sturdy plywood, perfect for cutting and serving. To enhance durability and ease of maintenance, the birch board is coated with a food-safe lamination, which also makes it a breeze to clean.
